About these stones
Citrine‘s sunny exuberance inspires joy, confidence, creativity, and prosperity. A member of the quartz family, natural citrine is surprisingly rare. Today, most citrine results from heating Amethyst to an orangey yellow hue — the perfect shade for November’s birthstone. It also marks the 1st and 13th wedding anniversary.

How we grade
A: lighter colour, visible inclusions. Good for fashion pieces and practice settings.
AA: even colour, some inclusions you can see up close. Everyday jewelry.
AAA: rich colour, eye clean. Fine jewelry.
AAAA: the top colour we cut, eye clean. Statement and heirloom pieces.
Market Basics or Precision
Market Basics: good outlines; sizes and depths vary a little stone to stone. Best value for settings you adjust by hand.
Precision: even outlines and matched depths. Drops into pre-notched castings and lines up in rows and halos.
